Click on your "PRODUCTS" tab in the administration. Click on add and go to the form provided.
Then, just follow the instructions. Start with the item code, give the product a name and describe it for your customers. Then select a category or a parent category for your product.
If you have set up any product options as described in "Product Options" you'll see the product option in this product setup section

In this input line you input a comma separated list with the sizes you offer (5,51/2,6,61/2,7,71/2... etc.) make sure place a have a comma (,) between 2 options!
You also have the option to upload 2 pictures of each product, a smaller one, that's usually viewed with the product description, and a larger one, that can be viewed by clicking on the smaller image.
You also can upload a file to the product setup page, when you are selling software, music, audion or video tapes. In a case like that, you want the customer to pay first, and then have access to the downloadable file. Our shopping cart does just that! You can also upload sample music or sample video for your customers to preview or listen to, before they make a decision to buy.
Next, when setting up a product, you have the option to display this product on the home page as well.
This is a great feature for daily, weekly or monthly SPECIAL SALES you might offer on your website.
Should you have items for sale on your website that are too expensive to just charge to a credit card (heavy machinery, jewelery, antiques etc.), you can HIDE any associated options and "add to cart" button. The product will appear as informational product only.
This feature works great with REAL ESTATE (who's going to buy a $500,000 home with is Visa card off a website???... but you already know... some day this will be reality!!) |
